The Rockland Community College Foundation was established in 1981 to provide the resources that students require for success. The Foundation is dedicated to supporting the College by fostering a culture of philanthropy, growing the endowment, and providing financial support for long-term institutional priorities that could not be achieved without private funds. Access to the educational opportunities provided through scholarships can serve as the path to economic security, and this is especially true for low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented students. The RCC Foundation awards over $200,000 annually to deserving students. Additional support is provided by the Foundation to the College to ensure that students get the highest-quality educational experiences.
The Rockland Community College Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization that responds to the educational needs and aspirations of the people of Rockland County by assisting Rockland Community College. The Foundation provides financial assistance to the college for the continuing development of its students, staff, faculty, and programs of the college.
